About Me
I am a primary teacher currently only working one afternoon a week by teaching German at a local school. My husband works from home, and is often flexible with his hours, so our 13-month-old daughter has seen a lot of both of us this past year! I am German/American and my husband is British, so she has been raised bilingually. She has great comprehension in both German and English and is just beginning to learn some words in both languages :) She's an absolute joy to be with.
My Requirements
My husband and I are looking for someone to help out two days a week by taking care of our 13-month-old daughter while we both get some work done. She has never been with a babysitter or anyone outside of family and friends so we are looking for someone who will help us make it a smooth transition! A childminder would be ideal, where we could drop her off in the late morning and pick her up in the afternoon, knowing she's had a fun day and been looked after.
As both of our families live a little farther away, we would also love to find a local babysitter whom we could call on for occasional babysitting. This will not be required regularly.
We know we need someone on Wednesdays; the second day is not clear yet and could be flexible at the moment.
