About Me
I'm a sociable, highly active person, who enjoys taking part in various sports and activities: rugby, cricket, rock climbing, gyming and running. I am passionate about leading a healthy active lifestyle and motivating others to do the same. I am currently enrolled in a Nutrition Level 4/5 course, which is further developing my passion to understand between the human body, nutrition and fitness. I am looking to begin my Level 3 Fitness Instructor course.
Whilst studying I am also working as a Primary School Teaching Assistant on supply, therefore, my available is super flexible.
My Experience
As previously stated I’ve worked in childcare for over 11 years, with children aged 0-16 years. The various settings have included nurseries, Primary and Secondary schools, holiday camps, hotel resorts. My most recent role was a Sport Coordinator at where we worked with over 142 schools across Manchester aging 6-16 years. My roles included: Project Officer for HAF (Healthy, Activities & Food) organiser, Girls Safety, Girls Active, LGBTQ+ inclusivity, and Rugby officer. I managed HAF, with the responsibility of planning and delivery of HAF Holiday Schemes during Easter, Summer and Christmas half terms. In charge of organising: recruitment of attendees, staffing, venue, sporting activities, registration of the children, creating relationships with parents/guardians and ensuring everything was ran correctly and smoothly.
My role also consisted of the delivery of school competitions, events and the development of young sports leaders.
Managing a calendar of 275 competitions, events and festivals across Primary, Secondary and Special schools across 26 sports.
Responsible for organising and facilitating various projects with primary and secondary schools around Girls Engagement, Community Safety, and Young Ambassadors.
My Qualifications
I am a motivated, energetic and professional sports graduate, with 11 years’ experience of creating a safe, secure and engaging environment for young children. As I hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification, I am adept at managing large groups of children.
I am fully trained in First Aid, Safeguarding Policy and Nursery Health, Safety and Security. I hold in depth knowledge surrounding EYFS and SEND Frameworks, with confidence in my ability to implement this in educational and play material for children.
My Availability
Whilst studying I am also working as a Primary School Teaching Assistant on supply, therefore, my available is super flexible. Evenings, and weekends will always be free and the rest can be super flexible.
