We're a family of three now, having recently welcomed our miracle baby in December after trying to conceive for several years. My husband and I are originally from South Africa and have been living in the UK for the past four years. We love to travel and consider ourselves foodies. As we don't have any family in the UK, any support is always greatly appreciated.
My Requirements
My baby will be three weeks old soon, and I'm already starting to plan for childcare when I return to work in January 2026. He will be just over one year old then. I'm looking for a childminder and, as I work from home most days, I can manage drop-offs around 8:00 am and pick-ups in the late afternoon. However, my husband and I are in the office most Thursdays, so we would need to request an earlier drop-off and later pick-up on those days.
