My Experience

I have younger cousins who I grew up with and very often helped to babysit, so I have ample experience with imaginative play and keeping young kids engaged. I was a mother's help for a 3 month period during the summer for two kids aged 5 and 7, one of whom was neurodivergent. I kept them entertained whilst their mum finished her work, which involved outdoor games, reading, school spellings and cosy movie evenings. I prided myself in leaving the house as clean as possible, meaning tidying up any mess created during my visit as well as helping with general household chores. Additionally, I nannied for a 2-year old 4 times a week over the summer, which involved nursery pick-up, snack time, reading, playing, trips to the park! And on a more practical level, I often cooked dinner for the whole family, cleaned the lounge area and kitchen (dishwasher, hanging out washing etc), nappy changes and bedtime.

My Qualifications

In terms of academic, I have 9 GCSEs between the grades 7-7, 3 A-levels at A*AA, and I am currently averaging an upper 2:1 in my undergrad law degree. I am also DBS-checked through my university, as I have volunteered with children before through an outreach programme.

My Availability

As a uni student, my timetable is reasonably flexible, especially on the weekend.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My fees work on an hourly rate of £15 per hour on a week day, and a flat rate of £35 overnight. On the weekends, I charge upwards of £18 an hour. I also politely request reimbursement for any extras I have been requested to get during nannying hours -- such as snacks, top-up shops and activities.
