About Me
*I am due to be registered with Ofsted on the 17th February 2025* I strive to provide a home-from-home environment for your little ones. Here, they can explore their creativity and fully enjoy the great outdoors.
In my spare time, I love cooking, baking, and indulging in all things creative. Growing up as a farmer’s daughter instilled in me a deep appreciation for the countryside and fresh air, which I love sharing with the children in my care. I’m excited to embark on this wonderful journey alongside your little ones, helping them learn, grow, and create lasting memories.
As a mother of three, I understand how crucial family is and the significance of quality childcare. That’s why I took the leap from teaching to childminding; working from home lets me cherish precious moments with my family.

My Experience
My work experience spans roles over 18 years starting as a TA then progressing to becoming a primary teacher, and SENDCO, allowing me to support every child’s unique needs effectively. I worked as a TA for 15 years in Primary Schools, working from Reception to year 5 children. I worked as a Primary Scholl teacher for 6 years, teaching children in Year 2, Year 4 and Year 5. I became the school's SENDCo and worked in this role for 2 and a half years, organising SEND provision throughout the school. In addition to this, alongside my TA role, I worked as a counsellor, empathy and understanding from this role are also key attributes to working with children.

My qualifications include a
• Diploma in Childcare and Education
• BA (Hons) in Person Centred Therapy and Psychotherapy
• PGCE in Primary Education
• NASENCO (Post Graduate)
My Availability
I'm based in Blackburn, near Ewood Park
Monday 7.30 am - 4.30 pm,
Tuesday Friday from 7:30 am to 5.30 pm.
I provide homecooked meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
