About Me
I have just moved into Helensburgh on a two year work visa, I am all the way from Canada! I like to think I reflect the Canadian stereotypes of being friendly, kind, and chipper! I am currently looking for part-time or full-time work however I am happy to do an overnight in case of an emergency. Working with kids is the best job ever which is why I plan on getting my masters in teaching to become a primary school teacher! I love what we call soccer in Canada, I played league 1 on the Rush Academy’s Women’s Canadian Select team for a year in 2023. Music is a huge passion of mine, listening, playing the guitar and piano, I love it in any form. I also love to run, go on hikes, and draw from time to time. My Experience
I have plenty experience babysitting through my neighbourhood back home as well as volunteer experience at a day care that was right next door to my home for kids aged 2-5. I also worked at a couple of summer camps one of which was an overnight camp working with ages 9-15. I’d say this past job working as an overnight camp counsellor provided me with the most skills in terms of learning how to make a connection with campers and learning how to deal with their mental challenges whether it was homesickness, eat disorders, anxiety, etc. I’ve also worked as a ski instructor and coach working with kids aged 6-15 in groups of 6-20 at a time.
My Qualifications
- I’ve completed a course in babysitting teaching the first aid for different age groups.
- I am recertified for my first aid training for Red Cross which I completed back in June 2024
My Availability
I have complete availability! Again as I stated before I am not looking for any overnight jobs, however I will be happy to make an exception for emergencies or rare occasions.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
£12/hour + £1.50/per child
I don’t charge for cleaning up after children, I’m more then happy to do it and it’s great to get the kids involved however, if you are wanting extra cleaning done extra rates may apply.
