Hi, my name is Sarah-Jo and I am 27 years old. I graduated Edge Hill University 6 years ago, as a Primary School Teacher and qualified as a Special Needs Coordinator (SENCO) last year.
I am enthusiastic, caring and passionate about working with children and families to provide support and advice when needed. I am extremely organised and a great communicator.
My Mum has been a Childminder for over 20 years and I have grew up around children of all ages, from newborn to 13. I have two nieces aged 12 and 8 and a baby nephew of 9 months who I adore and spend lots of my spare time with.
My Experience
I have been a Primary School Teacher for 6 years. I have been working within a special needs provision for the last 3 years, where I have worked with children ages 3 to 11.
I am a qualified Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and have a passion for working with children with various needs, from Autism, ADHD, nonverbal children and many more. Having worked with children with such complex needs I understand the importance of parents having a reliable, confident support network around them, to give respite during the evenings.
