Hi, my name is Maleeka, I am 21 years old.
I am a dedicated final-year paediatric nursing student, known for your caring and supportive nature. My passion for sports and nursing complements my ability to tailor my skills to meet individual needs. With a genuine love for children, I always strive to provide the best care and support to anyone within my care.
I also come from a big and loving family with loads of cousins and siblings. I started working in a nursery at 16 years old and I have learnt so many techniques and skills when looking after children especially to enhance and engage in activities they find interesting, each activity I do I have a motive behind them which is to develop there skills and help reach milestones. I am care and supportive individual and live to have fun, when Babysitying not only am I taking care of the children but I also like to offer help with the parents if they need any house chores to be done such as cooking, ironing, tidying up.
My Experience
I have four years of experience working in a nursery with children aged 3 months to 5 years. For three years, I've been babysitting various ages, capable of caring for 4-5 children at once. I also have newborn experience, am DBS checked, and have paediatric first aid training. I am able to do overnight care and day care, as well as doing house chores.
My Qualifications
I have a triple distinction in Health and Social Care Level 3 Extended Diploma.
I completed safeguarding training in 2024 and hold a pediatric first aid certificate valid until May 2025, with plans to renew it.
Additionally, I am enhanced DBS checked, ensuring a safe environment for children.
Food hygiene.
I am also 4 months away to getting my paediatric nursing degree.
My Availability
I mainly have overnight care availability’s and part time throughout the week but can also change my schedule if needed
