My Requirements
Sebby is resistant to learning, and I don't want him to fall behind. I am not entirely sure if he can't do it or simply won't try, but either way, he needs to learn how to read. I believe his lack of confidence is a factor, as he won’t try new things. When I mentioned looking into tutors, he threw a tantrum. His handwriting was much better before starting school; it was small and neat, but now it’s frankly a mess.
He will not practice at home with me and the result is both of us getting heated, and I do not want to be a screaming parent!
I have said any afternoon after school or an hr at school would be the best solution however I am not sure if the school will oblige.
I would like for someone to asses the situation and advise on the best solution. I am flexible with times most days afterschool and evenings but his 7 so this needs to be considered.
