Hi! I’m Lucy, a passionate and caring childminder dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing and fun environment for children to thrive. With over 10 years of experience working with young children, I offer a home away from home where your little ones can explore, learn and grow at their own pace.
I provide age-appropriate activities, outdoor play, and hands-on learning experiences, tailored to each child’s interests and developmental needs. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where children feel comfortable and excited to spend their day.
As a childminder, I prioritise safety and well-being above all else. You can rest assured knowing that your child(ren) will be in a secure, loving environment with plenty of opportunities to socialise, build new skills and above all else, have fun!

My Experience
With over 10 years experience in childcare, I have developed a strong understanding of child development and the diverse needs of children. I hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification in childcare, ensuring I have a solid foundation of professional knowledge and skills to support young children. In addition to this, I am first aid qualified, which equips me to handle emergencies confidently and responsibly.
Outside of my professional, I’m also a mother to my 5 year old son who recently started school. This experience has further deepened my empathy and understanding of the challenges and milestones children face as they grow and transition into new stages of life. I bring both professional expertise and personal experience to my childcare approach, always prioritising the wellbeing and development of the children in my care.
