About Me

As a dedicated and experienced childcare professional, I offer a wide range of services to support families and provide a nurturing environment for children. My background includes working in nurseries, primary and secondary schools, where I developed the skills to care for children of all ages and abilities. These roles allowed me to gain valuable experience in organising educational and creative activities, promoting positive behaviour, and adapting to each child’s unique needs and personality.

Growing up with a younger brother with autism taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and understanding in caregiving. This personal experience shaped my ability to provide tailored care, ensuring children feel safe, supported, and valued. I am skilled at creating inclusive, stimulating environments that encourage children’s growth and development while respecting their individuality.

I also excel in providing routine and structure, such as preparing nutritious meals, organising playtime, helping with homework, and managing bedtime routines. My organisational skills and reliability ensure that I can efficiently handle multiple responsibilities while prioritising the child’s well-being.

With strong communication skills, I work closely with parents to understand their expectations and maintain consistent care. My adaptability and proactive approach allow me to handle challenges calmly and effectively, ensuring a positive experience for both children and their families.

By combining my professional experience with a compassionate and enthusiastic approach, I strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of the children I care for.

My Experience

I have gained valuable experience in childcare through various roles, including working in nurseries, primary and secondary schools, where I had the opportunity to care for children of different ages and abilities. I have successfully organised and led educational and creative activities, ensuring that they are both engaging and developmentally appropriate.

Additionally, my personal experience growing up with a younger brother who has autism has shaped my approach to caregiving, allowing me to understand and support children with unique needs. This experience has taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and tailored care in creating a supportive and nurturing environment for children.

I am also experienced in managing daily routines such as meal preparation, playtime, homework assistance, and bedtime. I am reliable and organised, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive atmosphere.

My communication skills allow me to work closely with parents to understand their needs, and I am adaptable to ensure I provide the best care possible in any situation.

I understand that these little humans are the most important people in your lives, and I want to reassure you that they will be in excellent hands. I’ll be just like a modern-day Mrs. Doubtfire—dedicated, caring, and ready to bring lots of joy and fun to their day.

My Fees

  • Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

Based on my experience and qualifications, I would charge an hourly rate of £15 per hour. I believe this is a fair rate for the level of care and support I provide, taking into account my background working with children of all ages and abilities. My rate is also reflective of my commitment to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children, while maintaining open communication with parents to ensure consistent care.

I am open to discussing my rate further and can adjust based on specific duties and the hours required. I believe in a fair arrangement that values both my time and the care provided.
