About Me
My name is Billie and I am a French student (in law, economics and social sciences) who is studying in London for one semester. I fluently speak English, French and German (as I am French and German). I also have good knowledge in mathematics. I really love painting and drawing (I took classes during more than 10 years) and I play the piano (which I have studied for 9 years). I really enjoy outside activities, and especially with children. Moreover, I love reading, which as been my passion since I was a little girl. Sharing my passions and helping the children I work with is something very important to me, and I wish to teach as many things as they will teach me. Creating a space where the children I take care feel comfortable and understood is imperative to me, and I will everything in my power to make them feel happy and relaxed, while setting clear boundaries so that they never risk getting hurt.
My Experience
I have a French diploma to work with children (it is called the "BAFA" if you want to check it up) and I have worked in a recreation center for children for more than 4 years. Thanks to this experience, I have developed a real ability to create and set up activities with children wether they are inside or outside, art related or more sportive... I have mostly worked with children from 3 to 5 years old, and I understand all the necessities related to it. I am also very comfortable working with older children, especially since I have babysitted kids around 7 to 10 years old in the past. I also have babysitted a little girl with elocution problems and I am very able to set a relation of trust through other ways of expression than speaking (drawing together, reading, playing football...).
My Qualifications
I can help the children with their homework, and teach them a bit of French or German if it interests you. I can also teach a bit of piano if you or your child/children wish to. I am ready to do or learn doing anything that interest the children I work with. I am used to create fun and new activities thanks to my job in a recreation center. I can draw, do sports (to a certain level), play...
My Availability
Since I study during the day, it would be difficult for me to be available in the morning and during the day. However, I would be available on the evenings. My time schedule varies, but I would be for sure available on Tuesdays and Thursdays either from 5pm or maximum 5:45 pm. On Wednesdays, I am free on the afternoon some weeks. I can come on the week-end from time to others but unfortunately not on every week-end. I could stay overnight anytime you ask me, but depending on how late that is (if it's until later than midnight), maybe not everyday.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
Since I have arrived in London not so long ago, I don't know yet what are the average fees here. However, based on my experience in France, something between 12 and 16 £ per hour looks appropriate to me. If it doesn't suit you we can of course determine a new price together.
