About Me
Hi! My name is Amber, I love creating exciting, hands-on experiences for children. I’m a big believer in messy play and outdoor play as opportunities for children to learn, grow, and explore their creativity. My personal hobbies include hiking and camping so I love exploring the great outdoors with children, teaching them to appreciate and preserve our beautiful natural world.
I also share my home with my furry best friend, Ruby. She is a friendly cocker spaniel who loves being part of our outdoor adventures. Animals hold a special place in my heart, and I enjoy introducing the children to the joy and responsibility of caring for animals.
I aim to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children feel free to explore, grow, and create happy memories every day
My Experience
I have over 5 years of experience in childcare and I am highly qualified. First, I completed my Level 3 Childcare Qualification which included various placements. I then went on to complete my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Studies, Level 6. This included further placements. Since completing my qualifications I have worked in two nurseries across different age groups. I have a variety of experience in different early years learning approaches, including Forest School, Montessori, The Curiosity Approach and Reggio Emilia.
My Qualifications
I have two childcare qualifications, Level 3 Health and Social Care and Level 6 Early Childhood Studies. I am also a qualified pediatric first aider.
My Availability
My typical opening hours are 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday. However, I may be able to accommodate early/later timings if you give me a message!

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I offer two different session lengths:
Half day - £30 (5 Hours - 8am-1pm, 1pm-6pm)
Full day - £60 (10 Hours - 8am-6pm).
Breakfast Club & After School Club is charged at £5 an hour with a £1 drop off/pickup fee.

Amber and Natasha are fantastic childminders.
We would both like to thank you enormously for the love and care you have given our daughter in the short time you have looked
after her; she is always settled and happy to stay with you.
For your part, you have always kept us well informed of the activities that she has undertaken each day and have kept clear records of her food/drink, nappy changes, and naps.
It has been great to see the creative activities that she has done we will treasure the work you have helped her create.
Finally I would just like to say our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since being in your care we have noticed a massive difference and grateful that we have the confidence our daughter is safe, happy and looked after.
