Hello there,
I am Thet Lai. I moved to the UK three months ago and am looking for a job. I feel confident that I can do different types of jobs including research work, assisting librarians, tutoring, babysitting and helping the housework as I have got a university degree and am experienced in different types of jobs. Moreover, I am good at making friends with people and developing social and professional relationships.
I have just applied for the DBS check so that I can be eligible to do the babysitting jobs.
My Experience
I used to work for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar as a second secretary from 2017 till 2021 so I am experienced in some kinds of diplomatic services including supervision of customs clearance certificates for diplomatic cargo importation and exportation.
Prior to joining the diplomatic career, I worked for a business chamber of commerce as an international relations coordinator and translator.
In general, I believe these experiences can make me become a reliable employee in the services I mentioned earlier.
My Qualifications
I have got a master’s degree in English and am working on finalizing a master’s degree thesis related to development studies.
My Availability
I prefer working in the weekdays.
