About Me
I am originally from South Africa and have been living in the UK since 2018 when my whole family moved across. I am married with a 16 year old son.
My hope is to offer a home-away-from-home environment for babies and younger toddlers, before they move on to nursery as I feel that a home environment is very important at this age.
My Experience
I have been fortunate to be a work-from-home for the past 16 years and now my son is finishing his GCSE's. I have done a lot of child care over the years, mainly looking after friends children and my niece. I am now busy registering as a childminder with Ofsted.
My Qualifications
I completed my teaching assistant qualification training but didn't complete the formal assessments due to Covid, and then decided the formal education setting isn't for me. I have done a few first aid courses over the years, including pediatric and wound care.
