Hey, my name is Shani I am a Babysitter based in South London lived here my whole life. With a lot of younger siblings and cousins, I have grown to enjoy looking after them in my spare time. I'm very mature and responsible for my age and I can assure you that I am very capable. My services have been booked before and the parents were very happy with my performance. I am comfortable with any requirements that you may have to ensure that you know your children are in good hands and put your mind at ease.
In terms of myself, I’m a very down-to-earth and creative person. I enjoy taking part in arts and crafts and anything that lets my mind run free on the creative side. I studied hair and media makeup in college and hope to make a career out of it one day.
I make sure that I’m keeping the child’s needs and their best interest first at all times. I have no problem with doing any household chores, including cooking. I’m also happy with any cleaning that needs to be done, including laundry. If you can’t tell I like to keep busy and find cleaning relaxing as well.
My Experience
During my tenure as a part-time nanny, I provided dedicated care for multiple families, demonstrating versatility and professionalism. With one family, I maintained a consistent schedule, responsibly managing bedtime routines, assisting with homework, and attending to household tasks.
Additionally, I fostered a nurturing environment through engaging activities such as games, movies, and reading sessions. In another role, I embraced the challenge of caring for a one-year-old without television, prioritizing outdoor activities, park visits, and playgroups to stimulate development and exploration. I ensured the child's nutritional needs were met by preparing wholesome meals, showcasing my commitment to their overall well-being. Through these experiences, I honed my childcare skills and upheld a standard of excellence in every aspect of my role as a nanny.
I have also worked for many other families even up to 3 kids at once. I believe I am very capable of taking care of children and making sure their needs are met. In terms of discipline, I do not believe in it especially as they’re not my children if I do find myself in a position where disciplinary action may need to take place I will do my best to defuse the situation and wait until either I can get into contact with the parents or wait till they get home so they can do what they see fit.

I hold qualification's in that hairband beauty industry and currently work full time in a hair and beauty salon in South Norwood
