About Me

Throughout my teaching journey, I have demonstrated a strong commitment to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for all students, especially those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). I am passionate about fostering a love of learning in young children and dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential.
My key strengths include:
Curriculum Development: Designing and implementing engaging lesson plans aligned with national standards.
Classroom Management: Creating a positive learning environment through effective behaviour management strategies.
Assessment: Using both formative and summative assessments to track student progress.
Technology Integration: Utilizing platforms such as Google Classroom, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Quizlet to enhance learning.
Child Management and Creativity: Designing enjoyable activities tailored to children’s interests and developmental needs.
In addition to my formal teaching experience, I have volunteered at Averial Street Youth Centre and Power Performing Arts, where I organized and led creative activities for children. These opportunities have allowed me to further develop my skills in engaging young learners and managing group dynamics in both structured and unstructured settings.
I have also undertaken various professional development courses, including ADHD and Autism Awareness, Positive Behaviour Training, and Safeguarding, ensuring I remain up-to-date with best practices for supporting children in education.
