My Experience

Raising three successful grown-up children has been one of my greatest joys, and now, watching my three wonderful grandchildren grow is just as rewarding. I regularly care for my 2½-year-old granddaughter, filling our days with play, laughter, and cuddles. Alongside grandparent duties, I help my family by looking after their pets—adorable dachshunds and kittens of all shapes and sizes, each with their own quirky personalities!
My week is always lively, from working with a busy local professional, keeping their home in top shape, to frequently babysitting and looking after my grandchildren. Evenings often involve preparing them a nutritious meal, helping with homework, and even squeezing in a music lesson! Balancing family, pets, and responsibilities keeps me busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Every day is filled with love, learning, and plenty of wagging tails and purring companions!

My Qualifications

With a diverse and enriching background, I bring a unique blend of qualifications and hands-on experience to the table. As a professional music teacher, I have worked in one-to-one sessions and group settings, nurturing creativity, confidence, and expression in students of all ages. My certification as an aromatherapist further complements my skills, offering a holistic approach to well-being, which I incorporate into my care for children and families.

Having years of experience in caring for my own family, I truly understand the needs of the younger generation. My grandchildren, ranging from 2 to 8 years old, have helped me stay attuned to the ever-changing dynamics of today’s little ones.

I hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate, a Food Hygiene Certificate, and an Enhanced DBS check for peace of mind. With Public Liability Insurance in place, I’m currently pursuing a Child Psychology Diploma to deepen my understanding of child development and behavior, ensuring that I provide safe, empathetic, and nurturing care.
