My Experience

I have been working with children for 12 years and I always knew it was what I wanted to do for my career path.

I started with my first summer nannying job for a girl age 4, with a family in the Poole area. I worked sole charge for the family, planned activities, prepared all meals, organised outings, provided engaging play, settled bed routines and provided a safe and secure environment.

I have worked in nurseries where I was part of a team to provide a safe and secure environment for the children, plan and prepare activities to encourage their learning and development, encourage healthy eating and engage in the play with the children. I also had the responsibility of observing a number of key children to ensure they were always encouraged to develop to the best of their ability using a planned timetable.

I have since then worked in several full time and part time nannying position, first being for 2 boys aged 3 and 5 years, where I became a massive part of the family over 3 years. As mum occasionally worked away I worked long hours, provided long periods of full time care and helped with general household chores such as, laundry, tidying rooms, ironing, cleaning and dog walking.

After finishing this position I nannied for 3 boys aged 7months, 5 and 8 for another 3 years! I helped run the household as well as school runs, taking the boys to clubs and organising school holiday fun!! I was very sad to leave but the family are truely amazing and will be apart of my life forever more!

I currently work for a very special family of 3 boys which I love dearly!!! The boys were 6months, 7 and 9 when I started 4 years ago. Unfortunately as we all know, they don’t stay babies forever so I am having to change my hours as little one is now at school on his next learning venture. I have built a very special bond with the boys and the whole family, and it’s truely been a privilege working with them especially watching baby H grow and learn, so I’m glad I will be able to still help them part-time for the seeable future.


I will be looking for Monday to Friday hours between school runs in term time or any ad hoc work from January 2021.

My Qualifications

- I am Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Early Years

- Crb checked (available on request)

- Paediatric First Aid Certificate

- Full UK, Clean Driving Licence

- Reliable references available on request

My Availability

I am happy to help with overnights, babysitting, day/evening work. I will be self- employed so there will be no need for extra agency fees or the stress of working out wages, tax etc!

My Fees

• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)

£12p/h - negotiable depending on hours and times (daytime/evenings/weekends)

Babysitting hours £12-£13 p/h (negotiable)

Overnight available (babysitting fee hours from arrival to 10pm then babysitting fee hours from wake up to when I leave)
