About Me
Experienced tutor with a Maths PhD, who has been tutoring on-and-off for over thirty years. With two-grown up children who have now flown the nest I have capacity to take on additional clients.
My Experience
In my time, I have tutored from 11+ all the way up to University Master's level, but in recent years have tended to focus on GCSE Maths and A-Level Maths/Further Maths. In particular, I specialise in working with young people who need a bit of a boost to their predicted grade, bringing clarity to concepts they struggle with whilst giving them lots of opportunity to do practice questions, both in lessons and for homework. Very happy to discuss your individual requirements if they lie elsewhere.
I prefer to tutor in person at your house, but am happy to consider remote lessons for those further afield.
My Qualifications
I have a first class Maths degree from Cambridge, where I remained to do a Master's (Distinction) and a PhD.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £45.00 per hour
Fees will vary depending on travel time to your house and level of study. Travel costs within a 3 mile radius of Wallingford are priced into my minimum rate. There is no discount for remote lessons.
