About Me
We are a family of four shortly about to relocate to Pangbourne. We have two daughters rising two and four , currently both in Nursery . We are looking for some support over the five months from April to September before our eldest starts school and the younger re-starts nursery. We have a lovely, well behaved dog too so essential that candidate likes dogs.
My husband and I work. I work 4 days a week. We are often WFH. My husband does travel a lot internationally too so someone who is able to be flexible in evenings would help too.
My Requirements
Our key priority is creating a sense of calm, consistently and structure during this shift. We would someone who is imaginative and enjoys devising interesting activities, arts, outdoor adventures etc. In addition responsibilities would also entail “nursery duties” - kids laundry (wash, dry, put away), changing kids beds, meal planning, small top up shops/ online shopping and cooking (inc some batch for freezer, tidying and sorting playroom/ bedrooms and supporting in keeping house “tidy” (we will have a cleaner once per week). Location would definitely need a driving license. There is potential to continue to support beyond September (for after school/ nursery care), too if this is an option.
Any teaching experience would be helpful as we hope that this person will be able to support our eldest daughter with the continuation of her learning on phonics and numeracy in the lead up to school starting.
Both girls are used to routine, are good sleepers and eaters.
Helping with the dog would also be part of the role, taking her on walks with the children etc.
