About Me
Hello, my husband and I are looking for someone to help us with the care of our 12 year old Daughter, Scarlett.
Scarlett has a diagnosis of ADHD, Autism and global delay. Scarlett has a real passion for animals, music and dancing. She also enjoys horse riding, swimming and being outdoors.
Equally she is happy being at home with family and friends, reading a book or watching a film!
Scarlett does require a high level of support with daily tasks, she is verbal and attends a special needs school.
My Requirements
We receive direct payments through the local authority, and would be using this to fund an assistant to help Scarlett. I work part time and can be flexible with the help that somebody can provide us. For instance, someone who could help a couple of mornings with getting dressed, breakfast and school run, or playing after school and giving Scarlett dinner. Alternatively, or as well as, adhoc support, or fixed hours support on a Saturday or Sunday.
Essentially we can be really flexible with some hours/days but would equally like some fixed regular hours/days as well.
During school holidays, an adhoc or fixed hours would also be really welcomed.
Anyone interested would be welcomed to come and meet us and Scarlett in the first instance, before committing to anything, as we totally understand that her needs are somewhat different to her peers. We would also absolutely provide plenty of paid shadowing and training around Scarlett's care.
All I can say is, she is a gorgeous girl who brings fun, laughter and uniqueness to all those who know her.
