Hi, my name is India Nicholas, i am 19 years old and i'm from the Gower Swansea. I would describe myself as creative, kind and patient. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and i am eager to engage in fun, education activities. I am not in school anymore however, i did finish comprehensive (high school) then went onto go to college for a year and a half but didn’t enjoy it so i dropped out. I passed all my exams (GCSE) in high school then in my first year of college i started doing art coursework, psychology and business. I enjoyed school very much as i made a lot of friends and it helped me with my self confidence and taught me a lot. In my free time i love drawing and painting and i have been since i was a young child, this is because my grandmother is an artist and she has been inspiring me since i was very young. Furthermore, i love going to the gym to keep healthy and fit, as i believe that it’s very important to keep active as it’s good for your body and mental health. I also love animals, especially dogs so if you need help with pets i am more than happy to help.
My Experience
Over the years when i was a younger teenager, to make a little pocket change i would babysit a few children that were local to me which were various ages. Also, last year i decided that i would become an apprentice as a nursery nurse which i enjoyed very much but realised that specific job wasn’t meant for me. I worked at that nursery for just over 2 months and it really helped with my experience in looking after children. In this job i planned fun activities and adventures so the children were entrained but also safe in my care. Also from a young age when my cousins would come round i would always help with them as they were younger than me, i would help with their daily routines or plan creative activities. I’d say that i have looked after ages from 1-7.
My Qualifications
While I may not have formal qualifications, I have gained valuable experience through volunteering and caring for children in informal settings, such as babysitting and assisting with school activities. I am genuinely passionate about working with children and am committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment for their development. I bring strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work well as part of a team—qualities that I believe are essential when supporting children. Additionally, I am eager to undertake any necessary training or certifications to further develop my skills and ensure I can provide the best care and support.

I am available anytime, i’ve very flexible. I can babysit monrings, afternoons and evenings. I am available all weekend aswell.
