My name is Adeline cheung thank you for giving me this opportunity today. I was born in Hong Kong. I have a father, a mother, and a sister. My favourite subjects were physical education and music at school. I’ve been here for three and a half years .I am a housewife and now spend my free time volunteering at the church, where I sometimes help out with the kids, teaching them Bible stories. I love cooking and doing exercise. I want to have a baby and am looking for a job in childcare for my future plan. I also enjoy working with children. I think l have the right personality and skills and also have experience and motivation.
My Experience
My previous job was working at a tutoring centre for one and half years. My job duty was to let those children finish their homework and pick them up from school. I volunteered at my church for four years, the role was also related to childcare.
When I assisted in the summer activities, I am most grateful to see the different changes in the children before and after the activity. I guide and accompany them to go beyond the content of each activity during activity. Some children with learning disabilities are involved, and it is necessary to help them participate in the activity. It can't be denied that it will take some time. Be friends with them first, and then let them relax and participate. By completing this summer activity, you will see that some children have really changed their personalities.
