I love to work with children because I appreciate the opportunity to make a positive impact on their development, witness their growth, and engage in their imaginative play. It is a highly rewarding feeling to be able to make such a positive impact on their lives and watch the spark in their eyes as I help to fulfil their individual learning needs. The ability to foster learning and inspire confidence can also be incredibly rewarding.
My passion for working with children stems from their energy, creativity and genuine curiosity about the world. I’ve always been passionate about working with children from a young age. This stems from when I was a child growing up in a loving home with my mother, father and many sisters. My home was filled with love growing up and I always wanted to reciprocate that and ensure other children can experience this same loving feeling. I believe it is highly important for children to feel loved and supported in order to flourish in their development.
My favourite part of working in childcare over the past few years is being able to hear all the positive feedback from the children as well as their parents. This motivates me further to continue to help children progress as well as furthering my learning and progress to be better.
My Experience
I’ve worked in nurseries with children 0-5 for the past 4 years. My responsibilities included teaching and caring for children, having parent meetings, feeding and changing children, planning and carrying out stimulating activities to effectively help with children’s growth and development. I have also had 5 years of babysitting and nannying experience. I’ve worked with children 0-14. My responsibilities included cooking, feeding, changing, bath times, bed times, helping with homework, outings, school drop offs and pick ups and causal house cleaning and work.
My Qualifications
Level 3 in childcare & Education.
GCSE’s in English lit, English language, maths, double science and religious education.
My Availability
Monday to Sunday 40 hours or more a week and flexible.
