Hi :) I’m Koreena, a third year university student here at Aberystwyth studying psychology to be a child psychologist.
My Experience
I have plenty of experience with looking after children, especially children with autism and additional needs. I have grown up with fostered children (usually under the age of 6) who have lived with us for anywhere from 3 years to 3 months, which has given me valuable experience in quickly learning their needs and adapting my care to suit them. It has also allowed me to learn first-hand how individual each child is, and how individual their needs are. Although I wasn’t their primary carer, I would have to babysit for my parents sometimes, which was never a problem. As well as this, I spent much of my time at home playing with the children, and teaching them basic maths, so that my parents were less stressed and could go about their day. I am committed to providing the best service possible to make everyone comfortable and happy.
