Personally;-
Upbeat, positive, flexible, ‘can do’ attitude towards work and life. Natural problem solver and always happy to get stuck in and help wherever needed and necessary.
I am extremely flexible and happy to negotiate to suit your needs. Love to deliver nurture and love. Babies. Toddlers are my soft spot and joy. Although, school age care also great pleasure. School runs and after school care able.
I have my own car, (Volvo XC60) high level of safety, plenty of space & comfort - to pick up/drop off with public liability insurance. Generally, nothing is too much for me to help & support with.
I’m a mature mum/foster mum and know the strains and stresses parenting brings .If I can eliminate any of those, there’s my life satisfaction.
Education & professions :-
Degree educated, well spoken & presented. Carry myself with high values and standards.
Retired therapeutic led care foster practitioner. Worked self employed and took placements from local authorities across the south coast. Generally children with highly challenging behaviours and where either foster carer placement or adoption has broken down.
As a teenager kicked off my passion for children with nannying for high profile families and enjoyed wonderful holidays homes and lifestyles.
That soon ended when I had my own family… then took a year out to retrain as a foster carer. An extremely intense and challenging role to train for and experience.
Accommodation :-
In the process of moving to Whiteley where I will be designating one bedroom for the babies/toddlers naps/sleeps etc.
I am not a registered childminder. Therefore, unable to accept government funding.
