My Experience
During my time at university (2015-2018), I provided after-school care for children aged 5-9 years old. After graduating, I became a full-time live-in nanny for a 2.5-year-old and his two older brothers, aged 9 and 11, and cared for them for three years. I helped the youngest get ready for nursery, picked him up at midday, prepared meals, and organized extracurricular activities. For the older boys, I cooked dinner and assisted with homework. During school holidays, I planned various activities to keep them engaged and entertained.
This experience also coincided with the Covid pandemic where I homeschooled the youngest who was 5 years old at this point.
