About Me
I am a mum to 2 lovely boys. 1 is 7 and 1 is 2. Unfortunately my 2 year old is about to start chemotherapy for 18 months for 2 benign brain tumors. We had literally just settled him in nursery but we have had to withdraw him due to the risk of catching illnesses etc.
My Requirements
We are looking for a childminder who has a very small amount of kids they look after at home ( I do not want my son going to groups because of risk of mixing with others )
Whilst there will still be a risk of my son catching viruses etc, it’s a lot smaller in such a smaller setting. We would hope that the childminder would be able to inform us if any of the children are not 100 % but are going to attend , so we can keep our son off just to be safe.
Whilst a 1:1 nanny would be much more safer, we want our son to be around other children for his own development.
Looking for 2 maybe 3 days.
The first 10 weeks of his chemo are the toughest so even if the right candidate doesn’t have availability straight away, we maybe willing to wait til the strongest part of his chemo is over.
