Identifying the responsibilities of a (12 Hour) Paediatric First Aider
Dealing with an unresponsive Child and Infant (recovery position)
Administering Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Seizures, Foreign body airway obstruction
Administering First Aid to a Child/Baby who is choking
Wounds and bleeding
Shock
Anaphylaxis
Managing fractures:
- Head, neck and a back injuries
- Conditions affecting the eyes, ears and nose
- Chronic medical conditions or sudden illness
(including sickle cell anaemia, diabetes, ashma, meningitis and febrile convulsions)
- Effects of extreme heat and cold
