I’m a mature 19-year-old with a strong passion for childcare. Growing up surrounded by children has helped me discover my love for looking after them, regardless of their background, ethnicity, or disabilities —I believe every child deserves a nurturing and supportive environment.
Outside of childcare, I enjoy expressing my creativity through makeup and baking. I also have a passion for music and love discovering new artists and genres. In my free time, I like staying active, whether it’s going for a walk, trying a new workout, or just getting some fresh air. I’m always eager to learn new things and take on new challenges, whether that’s perfecting a recipe, improving a skill, or exploring new hobbies.
My Experience
I have a Level 2 qualification in childcare and am currently working towards my Level 3 to further expand my knowledge. I’ve completed placements at two nurseries, spending several months at each, where I gained valuable hands-on experience that has deepened my understanding of child development and care.
Additionally, I have been a babysitter for three children over the past four years, and they have become like family to me. Two of the children are autistic, which has given me valuable insight into supporting children with additional needs and handling different situations with patience and care.
Through these experiences, I have developed strong communication skills, adaptability, and a nurturing approach that allows me to connect with children and provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.
