About Me
I am very caring but can seem hard sometimes, which is an occupational hazard of being an Emergency Medic. ?Usually I value Asian culture more than western as I had a mentor who taught me Chinese medicine and cultural history as a child, which completely blew my mind and fits my personality. I take their view on respect for both nature as other people, I value the ways of organizing plus the work ethics, and I love the old wisdoms they still spread. Although I do have some obvious western treats, mostly being a strong and independent woman...?
I'm very just, practical, organised, straightforward and motivated. But also very understanding, charismatic, social and creative. I have a positive mindset and I try to value all the little things in life.?I love working hard and putting effort, I fight for what I find important, but I do not fight against things that can not be changed or aren't worth the energy. I can not be bothered by useless things and don't get impressed or stressed easily (I think also an occupational hazard) but that doesn't mean I'm uninterested or only serious! I love trying new things or guiding someone (mostly kids) in experiencing or learning something new. And I am very passionate about health and children, and I can get very enthusiastic about the things I love. (sometimes even too much....)
My Experience
I started as a Nanny/au-pair when I was about 14 years old, before I already did some occasional babysitting for family members and I helped as a volunteer in holiday-activities for toddlers and young kids.?
I got registered as a professional certified caretaker (including first aid for children and babies) in 2012. ?A few years later I opened my own little daycare for children with special needs or parents with irregular schedules that forced the children to stay overnight. Here I took care of up to 5 children (at the same time), aged from 2 months up to 7 years. Some with two working parents, others with a single parent. A few with challenges either at home or with their health, and also twin-babies with severe allergies.?
After closing the daycare I moved to Spain and later to the UK. I’ve done some occasional babysitting during that time and I worked for a year as a live-in Nanny.
I recently moved and are currently looking for a new family to support with daycare.
