About Me
Hi.. I am Mandy I am a very experienced childcare support Worker and Babysitter. I have over 20 years experience of working in the health and social care sector with caring and supporting the needs of people. I have cared and supported children with learning disabilities and complex needs, ensuring that they lead happy, quality and fulfilled lives enabling them to be independent and happy little people choosing the way they lead their lives the way they want to. I have had also the responsibility of being a childrens student nurse at liverpool johnmoores university where I studied my nursing degree. This has equipped me with the clinical knowledge of safe administration of medicines, child diagnosis of ADHD, Asthma, Allergies, Autism awareness, various routines of medications, etc.. I am also a mum myself to 3 children ages 19, 18 and 15. I absolutely love caring for children and working with families I wouldn't be in any other job. I have a lot of knowledge, skills and experience which will hopefully give you the positive reassurance that your child is in good hands. I am very creative and enjoy doing any activity your children wants to do as well as keeping your child engaged and entertained. I am very happy to follow any routine each parent has to follow for continuity of care. I am very flexible to what hours I can work and can work last minute if necessary. My Experience
I have over 20 years experience of working with children as well as being a student nurse and a mum to 3 children myself. I have worked in various care sectors, hospitals where I have provided quality care to children who have been unwell in hospital, children in a family focused setting doing activities and supporting parents with their childs needs in a community setting and also a leisure and nursery facility. I have experience of working with childrens support plans and risk assessments, feeding routines, bottle routines, sleep routine etc..

I have a new level 4 in childcare
certificate in basic life support
certificate in safe medication administration in children.
certificate in moving and handling
certificate in food hygiene
certificate in oral hygiene

I am very flexible to what I can work please get in touch. I am free most days but can make myself available if needed.
