About Me
I'm Kirsty, I am a newly registered childminder excited to start my journey! I am a mum to 5 children 4 sons, and 1 daughter. Our household is busy but thriving and filled with a lot of love, smiles and laughter along the way, we cannot wait to welcome children here to join in the fun and laughter. I offer a nursery like setting with a home from home experience. I know choosing the right childcare is important and that is why I am committed to providing your child with the highest standard of care. I aim to work closely with parents to ensure that you are happy with the service I am providing, and every effort will be made to make sure that your child feels at home and comfortable in my care.
All activities are planned so that they are engaging and stimulating for the children, consisting of a combination of adult-led and child-initiated experiences, which will help your child learn and develop many skills. Each week I take some time to plan activities for the children for the coming week, I will focus on their next steps and plan activities that coincide with these.
My Experience
I have 8+ years experience of working in Local primary school, whilst there I was based in the Nursery as a Keyworker for a few years, and then the Reception class as a 1-1 teaching assistant, as well as this I spent some time in KS1 as a teaching assistant.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 2 in Children and Young People workforce.

Availability from 7th April 2025
Available Mon - Thurs 8:00am - 5:30pm all year round with 5 weeks unpaid holiday. I take 1 week in Easter holidays, 2 weeks in the summer holidays, usually 1 week at the beginning and 1 week at the end of the summer holidays, and 2 weeks during the Christmas holidays. I will always give more than 30 days notice of exact dates.
I am able to do school drop off and pick up for Booker Hill Primary School
