About Me
I am a qualified Counsellor and obtained my Post Graduate in Communicating with Young ppl/ foundation in Mental Health issues. I am also an established author as I enjoy writing. I voluntarily work as a Lay member for Lambeth Appeals and Exclusions. Within saying this I am also a mother and grandmother. I am currently self-employed so when I'm not writing or Counselling online, I help to look after my grandchildren which I thoroughly enjoy. I can drive as I have a full driver's licence and have driven for many years. I currently do not own a car. I am a fun happy person and enjoy keeping fit; I feel that it is important to look after myself. I enjoy being with my family and doing many activities with them. I raised my children as a single mother so I therefore know the struggle that can be experienced from time to time. I currently have some spare time on my hands and I feel that this time would be useful to help families that need some extra support.
My Experience
My first experience in childcare was raising my children. Two are twins who have a disability. I started off working as a dinner lady, then went on to become a T.A. I then became a Learning Coach working in a primary school. During my training, I worked with young people in secondary school settings and various centres counselling and guiding. I became a school governor in a secondary school, and once my children left I continued the work with Lambeth. I currently work from home as a counsellor speaking to people online or in person. During this time I have helped my daughters to home-school their children by creating history projects and teaching them; Or helping with what their mothers have assigned them to do. I have helped raise my grandchildren from birth. One of my daughters has twins I have supported her with looking after them from birth to the present, they are now 5 years old.

Diploma in Counselling. Clapham Center.
Humanistic/Psychodynamic Counselling. Goldsmith University.
My Availability
I am currently available most days of the week, I do not work weekends unless I have advance notice and am available. My availability is not fixed, It can always alter.
