About Me
I am 19 years old and have always been passionate about childcare and ensuring i make a positive impact in the new generations. I am the oldest of 6, with 3 younger sisters and 2 younger brothers that are between the ages of 3 years old - 18 years old which has allowed me to understand and support children of all ages.
My Experience
I have been working in the childcare industry for 3 years now and i am a fully qualified EYP. i have worked in playrooms with various ages from 0-5 within this time frame.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 qualification in children and young people that i achieved through an apprentice ship. I am first aid trained with also a PVG check. I have completed a training course called LIFT (language is fun together) which is an East Lothian Council and NHS Speech & Language course that allowed me to ensure i was able to communicate with different children in a fun and comfortable way that also promotes independence. I have also done another East Lothian Council course called Managing distressed and challenging behaviour which taught me about different triggers and how to deal with challenging behaviours that may appear when working with a child that has ASN.
