Hello! I’m Matilda, currently in Beaminster, Dorset for the whole of March and available to help with childcare or tutoring. I’m 24, have a First-Class Honours Master’s in Italian and History of Art from Edinburgh University, and a 120-hour TEFL & TESOL certificate. Since I was 18, I’ve been traveling the world and living abroad in Italy and Mexico. I’m passionate about poetry, literature, languages, cultures, photography, and travel.
My Experience
I’ve tutored in all subjects for 8 years and am currently teaching English 1-1 online for Directo Telecom, Hector Esrawe in Mexico City, and on Preply. I also do translation work between English, Italian, French, and Spanish, and I’ve started learning Arabic. I have plenty of experience looking after children, including working as a live-in au pair with kids under 5 in London, and I’m still close to the family I worked with.

My Qualifications
I achieved 9 A*s at GCSE and A Levels in Art (A*), Chemistry (A), and Geography (A) at Sherborne Girls (2016–2019), where I was an Art and Academic Scholar. I later earned a First-Class Honours Master’s in Italian and History of Art from Edinburgh University (2020–2024) and have a 120-hour Premier TEFL certificate (2024).

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
I charge £12 per hour for babysitting and £30 per hour for tutoring. I’m open to discussing the price to make it work for you, so feel free to reach out!
