About Me
Hey there! I’m a babysitter who provides care from my own home and currently offers school runs for two different schools.
By day (well, three days a week), I work as a practitioner at Medway Hospital. But on my free days, I’m happy to take care of your little one—if my availability allows it!
Why did I choose to do childcare ?
Well, I’ve got two answers for you. Pick your favorite:
The Sensible Answer:
I have a Level 2 qualification in childcare, safeguarding, and pediatric first aid (plus adult first aid—so if you collapse at my doorstep, don’t worry, I’ve got it handled). I’ve also attended child development webinars, and my job at the hospital means I’m trained to assess safety and well-being.
The Honest Answer: I have the energy of a child trapped in an adult’s body (a very snack-loving adult, I might add). Your little one keeps me moving, which means I get my exercise without needing a gym membership—so really, it’s a win-win.
Why Trust Me?
I’m a loving mom myself, so I completely understand the anxiety of leaving your child in someone else’s care. I treat every child as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and secure.
Oh, and I’m currently in the process of getting my Ofsted childminder registration. It’s taking forever (seriously, DBS, let’s speed things up!), but fingers crossed, I’ll be fully registered by summer!
So, if you need a fun, trustworthy, and slightly out-of-breath babysitter, let me know—I’d love to help!
My Experience
When it comes to caring for children, experience matters—and as a mom of two, I know firsthand what it takes to keep little ones safe, happy, and well cared for.
Beyond motherhood, I have hands-on experience looking after my aunt’s and neighbour’s children, giving me a deep understanding of how to nurture kids with patience, warmth, and attentiveness.
Qualifications & Skills
I hold:
? Paediatric First Aid – Because safety is my top priority.
? Level 2 Childcare & Education– Understanding child development and meeting their needs.
? Level 2 Children Safeguarding– Knowing how to protect children and when to make referrals if needed.
What I Offer
?? I can assess your child’s needs and care for them like my own.
?? I provide the essentials—healthy meals, hydration, and a comfortable environment.
?? With your consent, I ensure they stay clean and fresh with proper hygiene and clothing changes.
?? Most importantly, I offer warmth, patience, and a nurturing approach, making sure your child feels safe and loved.
But beyond qualifications and skills, the most important thing I bring to childcare is the heart of a mother—an attentive, caring, and protective one.
If you trust me with your child, I will do my absolute best to keep them safe, happy, and well cared for—just as I would my own.
