Dear families;
My name is Laura, I am from Spain, raised in Tenerife, a small island, and by a loving and hard-working family. I have a Degree in Primary Education in Universidad de La Laguna, specialized in English. I am very passionate about my profession, responsible, clean, orginized and careful, well aware that what I'm taking care of is someone else's whole world and I don't take that slightly. Also being able to work at something that I really enjoy is a privilege so I'm also that kind of teacher that not only love to be in class but in the playground, I don't mind getting my hands dirty and i even enjoy and get into character if they don't mind another participant in the game, being a guest in a high quality restaurant or cooking with some grass and sticks never gets old. For me it's not only a responsability but truly fascinating getting to see the world through their eyes.
It is always a difficult decision to choose and trust someone to enter your home, your space and take care of probably the most important thing you have so I give this job great respect and therefore I hope to give you the greatest possible assurance of my trust and dedication. My Experience
Experience as a caregiver:
- Au pair (4 children 4-12 year old) - 6 months
I have experience cooking dinner and cleaning afterwards, collecting the kids from school and tidying up the house.
- Caregiver on a center for disabled and neurodivergent children (5-9 year old) - 3 months
Because they were disabled and a lot of them non-speakers I have experience changing diapers, taking care of their needs and feeding them.
Experience as a teacher:
- Support teacher (3-4 year old) - 3 months
- Personal tutor at home (7-11 year old siblings) - 9 months
- Teacher of extracurricular classes (4-5 year old children) - 9 months
My Qualifications
- Degree in Primary Education in Universidad de La Laguna.
- C1 English level certificate.

I would like to work essentially in the mid-week and I'm flexible with the schedule.
