About Me
I am an enthusiastic and cheerful person who can engage children in games and activities easily, as well as encourage good behaviour. I know children can be scared by a new face, and I’ve found most children are more comfortable with babysitters who aren’t afraid to make themselves look silly! For older children, I’m happy to help with homework or revision if needed, and for younger children I can create a schedule full of games or of quiet time, depending on their needs.
I can provide evening and weekend babysitting for families of up to three children. I may be able to work with larger families, on a case by case basis. I do not work with children under 3, as I don’t feel I have enough experience and my priority is the safety and happiness of every child I care for.
My Experience
I have two years’ experience working as a tutor and assistant in a children’s theatre group. Through this I have worked with children from ages 5-14, as well as children with additional learning needs.
My Qualifications
I have completed an Enhanced DBS check and am pursuing both a general and paediatric First Aid certification, though neither are complete as of writing.
My Availability
I am primarily available during evenings and weekends, and unavailable during school hours. I am also unavailable Monday and Friday evenings before 8:30pm. However, if emergency cover is needed I may be able to work outside of my standard availability - so don’t hesitate to ask!

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
My base fee is £10 per hour. This is my fee for one child, arranged in advance. Caring for more than one child, my fee increases by £1 per child (e.g. £12 per hour for 3 children).
My emergency rate varies on a case-by-case basis, due to the short notice, varied times of day and my own availability in those cases.
