About Me
Hi my name is Chloe, I have just registered with Ofsted and waiting on certificate (4.3.2025) - looking to start after Easter, April 22nd. I am based in Grimethorpe Barnsley area, I live with my partner, my two young children and two cats.
I have over 10+ years experience in Early Years settings ranging from 0-5 having previously worked in nurseries. I'm currently working in a school as a teaching assistant and have worked there for 9 years mostly within Foundation Stage 3-5 years. I'm ready for a new adventure and become a childminder.
I have experience working with SEN children with variety of needs. I will offer a calm and nurturing environment for your children, there will be lots of opportunities to explore local areas such as parks, libraries and playgroups. I own my own car and will walk around local areas too.
The children will have time exploring in my setting with range of toys based on their learning development and have access to free flow time outside in an enclosed garden too.
My Experience
I have 10+ years experience since leaving college. I worked as Early Years Practitioner in a baby room within a nursery for a year offering day to day care for children under 2, then moved onto working in schools mostly based in Early Years working with 3-5 years olds. During my time within schools I've gained lots of experience learning the children how to become school ready, building their independence, supporting them with their phonics and maths. I've briefly worked with older children 5-8 years covering and supporting in other classes.
I've worked along side many different children with SEN needs such as hearing impairment, autism, global development delay and also a children that is weight bearing. I can offer support and may be able to offer childcare for children with needs pending how best I can support the child.
My Qualifications
- CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education
- Early Years Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Paediatric First Aid trained
- Level 2 in Food Safety and Hygiene
- Previous Makaton training

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
My hourly rate will be £6.00 this includes all food provided and cost of outings.
I will be accepting funding for 9 month olds, 2 year funding and 3-4 year funding.
