About Me
I am a positive, nature-loving, yoga-enthusiast practitioner looking to pivot my childcare career to nannying. When I'm not working- you will find me doing yoga, drinking coffee, walking my border collie or spending time with my beautiful family. I am passionate to teach children independence and important life skills. My practice is very child-led and I love to use nature to provide learning opportunities across all 7 areas of development.
My Experience
I have been an early years practitioner since 2021 gaining my level 3 qualification in 2022. I have worked across different settings including preschools and day nurseries. I have had professional experience with children aged 6 months to 5 years. I have had recent personal experience with a newborn as I became an Auntie in Decmeber 2023. I have progressed to other roles including deputy manager and SENDco. I currently work as a preschool room leader.
I have supported children with SEND ranging from physical needs, communication needs and behavioural challenges. I am passionate to teach children independence and allow them to explore the world in their own way. I always work with a child-led practice as well as encouraging learning through nature and exploring the outdoors. I am an advocate for children's mental health and have vast experience with managing behaviour and supporting emotional regulation in children aged 2-4. I like children to explore through natural resources and encourage heuristic play to enhance imaginative development.
I have supported many children through the process of potty training aged 2-4.
I am a confident cook and baker. I used to run my own children's baking classes which proved very popular.

My Availability
I am available Monday-Friday 7:30am until 6:30pm.
If weekends are occasionally needed this can be discussed.
