About Me
We are currently expecting our first child, a boy, in August 2025. Sophie is a chemistry teacher working out of Colchester, and I am a journalist based in London. We therefore meet in the middle so to speak in Chelmsford.
My Requirements
We are looking for childcare or nursery care from September 2026 for our first child. If all goes to plan, he will be a year old at that point with our due date currently August 5th 2025. It feels very early to be looking at this, but we have been told we should be.
My wife is a teacher in Colchester, so works 9 till 4 - so ideally we are looking for an 8am to 5pm journey. She will be part-time, so three days a week would be ideal, although we are fairly flexible. Most importantly, we would love term-time contracts, but again flexible.
