About Me
My husband and I are not native to Glasgow but we firmly believe that the people do make it here! We've moved a lot but have been in Glasgow for 2 years and are now settled for the time being.
We both work from home for US based companies so are around a lot and would love a nanny so that we can see our son when possible without having to drop him off at nursery or a childminder. We also have a 2 year old dog who is quite active and wants to be everyone's best friend!
We're very active and like to get out for a hike or cycle when possible! The great outdoors are a big part of why we moved here. We also like to travel locally for long weekends, enjoy a dram or a glass of wine on the weekend and cook a lot!
Overall, we're quite easygoing and are simply looking for someone who loves kids to take great care of our son.
My Requirements
We have a baby boy and are looking for a nanny to start with 2 days a week at the beginning of June (Tues + Thurs) when I go back to work and ramping up to 3 days a week in August (Tues - Thurs) when my husband goes back to work. Ideally we'd like coverage from 10am to 6pm on those days as we both work for US based companies.
We are in Broomhill area, with lots of free parking nearby and within walking distance of Partick station.
Our son was born 2 months premature and he will be 10 months actual, 8 months adjusted in June. This means that we go by his "adjusted age" for all developmental milestones and he has a few extra vitamins to take on a daily basis!
We are looking with someone with the following:
- Baby CPR and first aid training
- 2-3 professional references
- DBS certificate
- A drivers license is not required but is desirable
We don't have any household requirements other than light responsibilities like child specific dishwashing or laundry. Our dog does not require any help but will be around so someone who likes dogs is preferable!
Ideally you are looking for a role that lasts at least 12 months, have experience looking after infants and are comfortable with bottles, formula, weaning and everything that comes with a 8+ month old! We'd love you to become a part of the household :)
