Hi! I’m Cennet (pronounced Jennet), I’m 20, and while I’m qualified in mechanics and welding, I’ve always had a love for being around kids. I love engaging children in creative activities, helping them develop important skills while making sure they always feel heard and valued. I enjoy arts and crafts and would love to do creative activities with them. I also love cooking and would be happy to help with mealtimes. I’m all about giving the kids a fun day while making sure they’re safe. We could head to the park for some games and maybe even sneak in some ice cream (if you’re cool with that, of course!) My goal is to create a fun, safe, and caring environment where children feel supported making sure they have a fun and enjoyable time while you’re away.
My Experience
While I may not have formal childcare experience yet, I have spent years babysitting my friends and families kids and helped my mum raise my younger sister, who is now 11. Through that, I’ve learned how to be patient, responsible, and attentive to a child’s needs. From daily routines to offering emotional support, I’ve gained hands-on experience in caring for and understanding children. I also previously worked as a housekeeper in a care home, so I’m great at keeping things tidy and organized. If you ever need a hand with cleaning up, I’m more than happy to help
My Qualifications
I am currently planning to go to college to gain the necessary qualifications for a career in childcare. While I may not have formal certifications yet, I am eager to learn and committed to building my skills to provide the best care possible.
My Availability
I currently work a 12-hour contracted job, my shifts usually vary between 9:00 AM - 5:45 PM, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, or 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM but my schedule varies each week. So we will have to discuss my availability that week. However, I’m always available to work before or after my shifts, and on my days off, I’m open to working at any time needed. I’m flexible and eager to take on as many hours as possible!
