My Summary
Live Out Full Time Nanny
About Me
I am passionate about creating a fun, nurturing, and educational environment where children can thrive and develop. I believe that each child is unique, and I adapt my approach to suit their individual personality, needs, and interests. I am dedicated to providing a safe and loving space where children feel comfortable and secure.
With a background in early childhood education and several years of hands-on experience, I have developed the skills to engage children in activities that promote learning and growth, while always keeping things lighthearted and enjoyable. I strive to balance structured activities, such as reading and educational games, with plenty of free play and outdoor adventures to foster creativity, social skills, and physical development.
I pride myself on being adaptable and able to manage a variety of schedules and situations, ensuring that each day is enjoyable for both the child and the family. Whether it’s helping with meal preparation, light housekeeping, or offering emotional support during transitions, I am always ready to take on tasks that ensure your child’s well-being and happiness.
My Experience
With over 12 years of experience in childcare, I have developed a diverse and comprehensive skill set that spans across various roles, including working as a nanny, nursery teacher in Spain and Scotland, and as a travel rota nanny. This extensive experience has allowed me to work with children of different ages, backgrounds, and needs, providing me with a deep understanding of child development, learning, and the importance of creating a supportive and nurturing environment.
As a nanny, I have worked closely with families, providing personalized care for children ranging from infants to school-age. My duties included managing daily routines, preparing healthy meals, organizing educational activities, supporting homework, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment. I have always made it a priority to foster a positive, trusting relationship with both the children and their parents, understanding the importance of communication and collaboration in delivering exceptional care.
In my role as a nursery teacher in both Spain and Scotland, I gained valuable experience working in a structured educational setting, where I developed age-appropriate lesson plans and delivered hands-on activities that encouraged curiosity, socialization, and cognitive development. Working in multicultural environments allowed me to adapt to different teaching styles and foster a love of learning in children from diverse backgrounds. I collaborated with other teachers and parents to ensure the overall development and well-being of each child.
As a travel rota nanny, I have had the opportunity to support families in various locations, adapting quickly to new environments and routines. This role required flexibility, resourcefulness, and the ability to thrive in diverse settings while ensuring continuity of care for the children. My ability to travel, adapt to different family dynamics, and offer consistent support during these transitions has been a rewarding aspect of my career.
Throughout all of these roles, I have remained committed to providing children with a caring, safe, and stimulating environment where they can thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually. My passion for early childhood education, along with my strong interpersonal skills and adaptable nature, has allowed me to build lasting relationships with the families I’ve worked with.
