About Me

Hello, my name is Claire and I’m an experienced, caring, and passionate childminder based in West Green, Crawley, where I live with my husband Zac, our two daughters—Izzy (14) and Holly (11)—and our friendly Cockerpoo, Leo, who is 8 years old.

We live in a welcoming four-bedroom family home with a large, sunny enclosed rear garden that’s perfect for play, exploring, and outdoor activities. We’re also just a short walk from three lovely local parks and have access to a wide range of children’s groups and resources, which makes our location ideal for little ones to learn, grow, and socialise.

My journey in childcare began in my teens when I worked at an after-school club and nursery, gaining hands-on experience caring for children from newborns to 4 years old. After becoming a mum myself, I became a registered childminder, a role I loved while raising my own young children. I later worked as a Teaching Assistant in a local school, further building my knowledge and experience in early education.

Now that my girls are growing up and becoming more independent, I’ve decided to return to childminding—a role I truly enjoy and feel passionate about. I’ve missed the joy and wonder that comes from working with babies and younger children, and now is the perfect time for me and my family to welcome little ones into our home again.

As a family, we love the outdoors—whether it’s long dog walks, gardening, or simply playing outside. We also enjoy baking together, and I personally love running (when I get the chance!) and settling down for a good film in the evenings.

My home is a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can feel safe, supported, and happy. I’m committed to providing high-quality, personalised care that encourages each child to develop at their own pace while having lots of fun along the way.
