At Emma’s Antenatal, I offer friendly, personalised support for pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood in the Forest of Dean. My services include small-group antenatal classes, one to one traditional birth-keeper / birth doula / birth companion support, postnatal doula care, pregnancy massage & Shiatsu, and breastfeeding guidance.
I will qualify as a level 5 Steiner Waldorf Early Years Practitioner at the end of this academic year.

My Experience
I have 16 years experience and a passion for supporting families, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my work as a childbirth educator, antenatal teacher, and doula. My training includes:
? Childbirth Education: University qualified antenatal teacher, specialising in evidence-based preparation for birth and early parenthood.
? Hypnobirthing and Relaxation Techniques: Helping parents feel calm and confident during labour through breathing, visualisation, and relaxation.
? Birth Biomechanics: Using movement, balance, and body alignment techniques to support optimal fetal positioning and smoother labour progression.
? Postnatal Healing and Recovery: Supporting mothers with tools to aid physical and emotional recovery after birth.
? Baby-wearing Consultant: I ran a sling library for eight years, helping parents learn the benefits of baby-wearing and how to carry their baby safely and comfortably.
? Doula Services: As a trained birth doula, I provide emotional and practical support during labour and birth.
Other Specialised Training: Including infant feeding support, massage for labour, and acupressure techniques.
My goal is to provide parents with practical tools, emotional reassurance, and a safe space to explore their unique journey into parenthood.
