My Requirements

I am looking for someone who can help us in the afternoons and early evenings three days per week.

The role would start at 1.45pm, which gives over an hour to prepare an after-school snack, dinner and anything else that you want ready for the children. The children are picked up from school at 3pm with a healthy snack at that time (e.g. cheese and veg sticks). They then enjoy doing creative activities, board games, reading, going to the playground, playing in the garden, etc. They can have TV time from 4.30pm to dinnertime (so you have some time to yourself to prepare dinner and tidy up in the kitchen). Dinner is at 5.30pm and I would then be home by 6.45pm in time to bath them and put them to bed myself.

Occasional babysitting would be useful but is not essential. Driving would be a plus but is also not essential. Hourly rate is very competitive for the area, and every other week the children would be at their dad's. In the weeks when the children are there, only nursery duties are required (i.e. kids laundry, tidying up the kitchen after you've cooked). In the weeks when the children are not there, some additional housekeeping would be required, but mostly child related (household laundry, unloading and reloading the dishwasher, vacuuming and organising the children's toys and clothes). The house is generally clean and well-organised and I have a weekly cleaner already, so that is not required as part of this role.

Ideal hours are 15 to 18 per week.
