Hi! I'm a 60 year old retired early childhood educator. I’m a kind, nurturing and reliable mother with lots of child care experience. I love how children learn through play and enjoy indoor and outdoor activities. I retired from education 5 years ago after 20 plus years of working as a preschool and primary school teacher.
My Experience
I'm certified in Early Childhood Education and previously was director of a nature based preschool. I'm a mother of a 21-year old daughter, a recent Uni graduate. Having been a classroom teacher for over 20 years, I've been involved in childcare and education for children toddler age through 2nd grade. Before I retired, I taught college early education courses for new teachers entering the field.
My Qualifications
I have an early childhood education endorsement, originally certified in the US, and have a Ph.D. in Education. CPR training, infant, child, and adult, as well as First Aid certification.
